The
Contest:
Empire:ZINE
in conjunction with Spyder's
Poetry Empire
will have a poetry/writing contest every month. There are no
specific categories, and any form of writing may be submitted.
The entries will be sent to the S.P.E., and judged according to
the criteria below.
PRIZES
and WINNERS:
There will be a first, second and third place winner.
The winners will have the place of win, title and author name
published in the Ledger of Winners
for Empire:ZINE
in conjunction with Spyder's
Poetry Empire Contest.
The
JUDGES and how they work:
The judges will read each submission, checking for content,
spelling errors, and general readability. They will consider
these things when reading:
- Did I get it?
- Do I understand what the
writer was saying?
- Do I want to read more of
their work?
The
RULES:
The rules of the contest apply to everyone. There
are no exceptions.
- All work must be submitted via the form below. Do
not send files to Empire:ZINE
or Spyder's Poetry Empire for the contest.
submissions per contest month allowed. If
you submit more than two per month, ALL of your
entries will be deleted. No exceptions.
* It is strongly suggested that
you E-MAIL PROTECT® your work BEFORE you submit it
(there is a E-MAIL PROTECT submission form below). What is
E-MAIL PROTECT®? Simply put, it is a way to help
you protect your work against plagiarism when it submitted to
S.P.E. You

Entries in ALL
CAPS will be not be considered and deleted on sight.
